For the past twenty-five years David has worked in Education while keeping his footing firmly in the Electrical Engineering & Design Industry. David’s first significant role in Education came at The College of North West London where he worked for five years & was the Curriculum Leader to the Building Services Dept for three years. During this time in London he set up the first incarnation of the DJT Consultancy Company, where he oversaw the Design & Installation aspects of a wide range of commercial electrical work throughout the Capital up to 1999/2000.
While living in London David attended Greenwich University, and added to his teaching qualifications by completing his Certificate in Education, the Higher Diploma in Education & the C&G Internal & External Assessors qualifications - required to assess both Candidates and Tutors within Further Education. Moving back to the North West in 1999/2000 David returned to Sessional Lecturing, dedicating specific days in his week to teaching Level 3 students at Hugh Baird College, Knowsley Community College and Wirral Metropolitan College, while the client lists for his Consultancy and Private Training companies both began to expand. David headed up the Electrical Installation Dept at Wirral Metropolitan College for a further five years from 2009 to 2014.
